What are your jig heads and weights made of?
Greenfin weights are made from a unique alloy that has a higher density than tin, zinc, and steel. At the same time, it is harder than lead and more affordable than tungsten.
Why don't you use tungsten?
We want to create an alternative that is affordable for the wider angling community. Our alloy is significantly cheaper than tungsten and yet has the right properties to effectively replace lead.
Which hooks do you use?
We have been a partner of the French company VMC since the beginning, as the hooks also come from European production.
Do the hooks also dissolve?
The hooks are uncoated and can easily rust away if they get caught underwater. The alloy is lead-free and classified as safe by the European Chemicals Agency.
Where are your jig heads manufactured?
The jig heads are developed in Switzerland and produced in the EU.
