FAQs
What are Greenfin baits made of?
Our baits are made from natural proteins. For flavor, we add our own concentrate of fresh garlic and attractants. To color the baits, we use natural substances such as coffee grounds. Our material is therefore truly 100% organic, and a fish gill cell test according to the OECD 249 standard has shown that our baits are completely harmless to fish and the environment.
How long can I fish with a bait?
Greenfin Flex is not indestructible, but exceptionally durable for an organic bait. Generally, you can fish with the bait for several hours or days until you lose it or fish have damaged the bait. The correct handling of the bait also determines how long the natural bait lasts. Information on this can be found in the Greenfin Tutorial.
Do the lures wear out while fishing?
No, the lures only start to dissolve after several weeks in the water. While fishing, they absorb a little water. Store the lures in their packaging until first use and dry them after fishing.
What if it gets wet in the tackle box?
Leave the lures in their packaging before their first use. After fishing, you should dry the lures and reuse them as soon as possible. You should dry the tackle box after fishing anyway to prevent rust.
Can I store Greenfin baits with other baits?
Greenfin lures are completely free from plastic. Therefore, the toxic plasticizers in other lures cannot harm them. Nevertheless, you should store the products in their packaging before fishing. Afterwards, you can place them next to other lures once they have dried and straightened out.
